What happens to your recyclables once they go in the bin? Join us for a tour of WM’s Materials Recovery Facility, located in Kansas City, Kansas to find out. The facility is one of two MRFs in the Kansas City region that processes mixed recycling waste from residential and commercial sources.
We will gather at Barley’s Kitchen & Tap (Midland & Renner) following the tour for our Fall Social – tour attendees will get a free registration for that event!
Please note:
Tour group size is very limited – sign up soon to guarantee your spot!
The tour will involve walking through a working facility – please use closed-toe footwear suitable for walking in an industrial environment.
Attendees will need PPE to go on the tour. Some loaners will be available but we encourage you to bring your own if you have them:
- Safety glasses
- Hard hat
- Hi-Vis vest
