Parkville Nature Sanctuary Service Project:

Calling all volunteers to join us at the Parkville Nature Sanctuary, a 115-acre wooded natural area located at 100 E 12th Street in Parkville, MO on Saturday, November 5th for a morning of community service.

We will gather at 8:30 AM and work until noon, helping with trail maintenance and pedestrian bridge repair. Lunch will follow at a location of choice in Parkville.

Our group will gather in the sanctuary parking lot, located just east of the Platte County Health Department office and just north of the Park University soccer fields at 8:30 AM. If you arrive after 8:30 and we have already left the parking lot, please contact Ed Hubert via telephone at 816-304-3909 and he will direct you to our work location.

All necessary tools and equipment will be provided. Please check the weather and wear clothing appropriate for outdoor work that day. Gloves are suggested. All Heartland Chapter members, friends, colleagues, and family members of all ages are welcome to participate.
