 \nThe Mid-America LEPC – US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Chemic
 al Facility Antiterrorism Standards (CFATS) Regional Workshop is an opport
 unity to enhance public-private partnership in the chemical security secto
 r in the Kansas City region.\n\n 	A way to encourage partnerships between 
 industry and the LEPC to strengthen preparedness\n 	An opportunity for bus
 iness and industry to meet and interact with local\, state\, and federal p
 artners regarding chemical facility security and regulatory standards\n 	A
  forum to learn about tools and resources provided by federal agencies to 
 the private sector intended to enhance safety and security\n 	A way for pr
 ivate sector partners who work with chemicals or operate production facili
 ties to learn about regional threat from federal partners\n\nThe intended 
 audience for this event includes businesses that produce\, utilize\, or st
 ore chemicals as part of their daily operations.\n\nWe have event sponsors
 hips available and opportunities for attendees to participate in an Indust
 ry Panel during the event. If interested in one or both of these opportuni
