 ustainability program\, share what guides its work\, detail recent success
 es and what future efforts will entail. A short tour of the LEED Gold cert
 ified Sunset office building will follow for those interested.\n\nBrian Al
 ferman\, Sustainability Program Manager\, Johnson County Department of Hea
 lth and Environment\n\nThe common thread in Brian’s career has been the 
 focus on the health of our environment and the collaboration with business
 es\, governments and citizens to further that effort in innovative\, often
  groundbreaking\, ways.\n\nThrough stints with non-profit\, entrepreneuria
 l and global\, private sector companies\, his work has shaped a unique per
 spective on the concept of “People\, Planet\, Profit” that can only be
