 ucer Responsibility\, EPR\, is an emerging state-based regime that aims to
  shift responsibility for packaging from municipalities (ultimate waste di
 sposal functions) to manufacturers and producers. Because the laws vary by
  state\, what is required where is both different and ever-changing. Our t
 eam will walk through who is subject to EPR\, the requirements for states 
 with EPR laws\, ways to get involved and in front of ongoing EPR requireme
 nts\, and finish with a discussion of potential impacts and practical tips
  organizations can be taking now.\nSpeakers:\n\nBrittany Barrientos\n\nBri
 ttany Barrientos is an environmental\, health and safety attorney out of S
 tinson’s Kansas City office. She works with clients nationally\, with an
  emphasis across the Midwest\, on compliance with regulations. She underst
 ands that these requirements change and evolve over time and enjoys workin
 g with clients to find ways to create robust\, comprehensive compliance pr
 ograms that meet business needs and are sustainable. When not working\, yo

 nts on EPR requirements and how to incorporate those into existing structu
