 emicals\, paints\, or lubricants. Disposal of these products\, when they a
 re unwanted or unused\, becomes a problem for the community and the enviro
 nment if they are disposed of in the trash or poured down a sink or storm 
 drain.\n\nJoin us as we tour the Kansas City\, Mo Regional Household Hazar
 dous Waste Facility to learn how this facility manages household hazardous
  waste through reuse\, recycling\, and proper disposal. Facility staff wil
 l discuss the regional collection program\, including mobile collection ev
 ents\, and give participants a trip through the process\, from the moment 
 the waste arrives at the door through to its packing for shipment to final
  disposal.\n\nAt the conclusion of the tour\, we will gather at a nearby l
 ocation (TBD) to network and socialize.\n\n&nbsp\;
