 \n\nProgram details\n\nRyan Pulkrabek will present on the growing concern 
 and emphasis on vapor intrusion by highlighting EPA’s proposal to list a
  contaminated site to the Superfund’s National Priorities List based sol
 ely on subsurface intrusion into occupied structures following EPA’s rec
 ent rule establishing subsurface intrusion as a new component of the Hazar
 d Ranking System\, the principal mechanism for placing contaminated sites 
 on the NPL. Ryan will also step outside of the legal realm to discuss a re
 cent study identifying commonly used household goods as contributing more 
 greatly to air pollution than vehicles\n\nRyan Pulkrabek\, Attorney\, Spen
 cer Fane LLP\n\nRyan Pulkrabek is a member of Spencer Fane’s Environment
  and Energy group. His practice focuses on navigating the complexities of 
 environmental\, health\, and safety laws\, but Ryan also has extensive lit
 igation experience.  He has represented clients through environmental iss
 ues including recovering contribution in light of potential fraudulent tra
 nsfers\, claims alleging petroleum releases from underground storage tanks
 \, and CERCLA litigation. Outside the realm of environmental law\, Ryan wo
 rks on issues related to federal and state education laws\, as well as a v
 ariety of financial rights issues. During law school\, Ryan worked for the
  Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Program\, where he researched legal issues 
 affecting ocean and coastal areas on the Gulf Coast and drafted and edited
  articles on ocean and coastal issues for Water Log\, a legal reporter of 
 the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium\, and for SandBar\, a legal r
 eporter for the National Sea Grant College Program.\n\n&nbsp\;
